Spot it, find the next one, and know who to ask
A cancellation may be reported in the available data. Here is how to see it, and what to do in the fifteen minutes that follow.
Spotting it
Open your station's page. A cancelled service stays there, marked as such: it does not vanish from the list.
That is a choice, and it has a reason. A train that disappears from the board leaves two possible explanations, that it was cancelled or that the feed stopped publishing it, and nothing lets you tell them apart. The mark indicates a reported cancellation at that stop, not necessarily of the entire run.
Finding the next one
The station page shows available times in order. Look for another departure towards the same destination and check the carrier's announcements: the list may be incomplete.
That is what the category filters are for: in a big station, narrowing to a single type of train saves you reading sixty lines to find one.
What to ask for, and who to ask
Being moved to another train, a refund or a rerouting are asked of the carrier, not here. This site observes public data; it has neither your ticket nor the power to change it.
Strikes
The disruptions SNCF publishes are carried over, industrial action included. One detail that matters: a notice that a strike warning has ended contains the word strike and is not one. Wordings that lift a strike warning are therefore recognised as such, instead of being counted backwards.
